I develop most websites with Thesis, an extremely customizable theme framework for WordPress. Thesis is a perfect base for your website because:

I can run your site on my preferred host, BlueHost, and keep it updated to the latest version of WordPress. Providing support is also easier (and cheaper) when it is on BlueHost, as I don’t have to spend time troubleshooting with a host and server configuration I’m unfamiliar with.
